So, Naomi Watts stars as one the world's most iconic women – the Princess of Wales in the upcoming biopic titled Diana (previously known as Caught in Flight). Unfortunately, still nothing about the official US release date (the movie is already set to hit UK theaters this September).
But we can once again remind you that Oliver Hirschbiegel directed the whole thing from a script written by Stephen Jeffreys, which focuses on the last two years of Diana's life after she divorced from Prince Charles.
In other words – yes, the upcoming movie will explore (and primarily focus on) her secret love affair with Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan.
Beside Watts, the movie also stars Naveen Andrews as Khan, Douglas Hodge, Juliet Stevenson and Cas Anvar.
