This time we could be nice and say that we finally have some action from Peter Parker, but that would be a terrible mistake, because, as you see, the guy is just sitting out there doing absolutely nothing.

I’m not fascinated with this project, although they say it’s the first in a series of movies that will tell us a different side of the Peter Parker story.
That includes Peter who is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. In his journey to put the pieces of his past together he uncovers a secret his father held…a secret that will ultimately shape his destiny as Spider-Man.
The good thing (I guess) is that Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are currently rewriting the screenplay for a follow-up to The Amazing Spider-Man, so who knows, maybe a miracle will happen after all.
The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Denis Leary, and opens on July 3rd, 2012.
