So, as you already see from our title, it's time for Jason Statham (aka a damaged ex-special forces soldier) to get some extra help from Sister Cristina, played by Agata Buzek. Written and directed by Steven Knight, the movie revolves around an ex-British Special Forces soldier, named Joey Jones, who returns to Great Britain and soon faces another kind of war – life on the London streets as a homeless and damaged veteran.
As we previously reported, Buzek stars as a young nun who works at an inner-city parish, and who (obviously) helps Statham's character. In case you forgot – this action thriller tracks Joey's journey from man on the run to avenging angel as he assumes another man's identity.
Also starring Vicky McClure, Benedict Wong, Lee Nicholas Harris and Ian Pirie, Redemption is set to hit theaters on June 28th, 2013.
