Swinton-Bell Shortly after we brought you the news that Chris Evans is in talks to portray the lead role in the graphic novel-adapted movie Snowpiercer, it looks like Tilda Swinton and Jamie Bell are poised to star in it as well. While we don't yet know much about the roles they are up for, we do know that the post-apocalyptic story centers on a ‘a group of people on a train without a final destination, struggling to survive after the end of the world brings on a cataclysmic ice age.' The train that in the comic is composed of 1001 cars carrying the last surviving humans on Earth after a devastating nuclear war could, in some ways be seen as the protagonist of this unique story is going to be built especially for the film. Bong Joon-ho (Host) of South Korea will serve as the director as well as the co-writer along with Park Chan-wook. Post-apocalyptic thriller Snow Piercer has been adapted from a graphic novel ‘Le Transperceneige' written by Jean-Marc Rochette. Production is set to begin in Prague this March, although no distributor is yet in place. Bell recently gave his voice to the titular character in Steven Spielberg's animation The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. He will soon be seen in Man on a Ledge, opposite Sam Worthington . As for Swinton, Tilda, she received a Golden Globe Award nomination this year for her work in We Need to Talk about Kevin and will next be seen in Wes Anderson's drama Moonrise Kingdom.
