THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Critics TV Spots

Nick Martin July 16, 2012 Add a Comment
the_dark_knight_rises Warner Bros. has released two more TV spots for Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated Batman finale The Dark Knight Rises, which hits theaters this Friday helmed from a script he co-wrote with brother Jonathan Nolan. These new spots let some critics express their initial thoughts of the film with quotes from critics praising Nolan's third and final Batman film; watch below and see what they are saying. The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 in regular and IMAX theatres and stars Christian Bale as the Dark Knight, joined by a star-studded cast including Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. Act fast, if you want to get a seat. For now, here are TV spot 14 and TV spot 15; a great way to start the TDKR week.
Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
