He's free to do whatever he wants, 'cause, in case you forgot, he plays that weird guy named Walter in the upcoming fantasy drama The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. We will once again remind you that Stiller (also) directs the movie from a script written by Steve Conrad, which is based on James Thurber‘s 1939 short story of the same name.
The film follows Walter, an office worker who lives inside fantasy worlds where he gets to live an adventurous life while romancing his co-worker sets off a global journey to fix things when both of their jobs are threatened.
Beside Stiller, the rest of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty includes Kristen Wiig, Shirley MacLaine, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn and Sean Penn, and the movie is already set to hit theaters on December 25th, 2013.
