BLACK WINGS HAS MY ANGEL Adds Paquin, Hiddleston
The cult classic Black Wings Has My Angel by newspaperman Elliot Chaze, ‘less about plot than the completely convincing characterizations’ has actually been developing since around 2007.
Finally, Cargo Entertainment has taken on the long-gestating film and two new stars have joined Elijah Wood, who had previously (a couple of years before) signed on to play protagonist Tim Sunblade, an ex-con who picks up a high class call girl to pull off an armored car heist.

Based on the real-life story of writer/director Shana Sosin the indie film Free Ride takes place in late 1970s Florida. For her, it marks full-length movie debut featuring major stars such as Anna Paquin and Cam Gigandet along with Drea de Matteo and Liana Liberato.
After fleeing an abusive relationship, Mom turns to the marijuana trade to support her daughters, ages 15 and 7. Paquin portrays Sosin’s mother Christina.

This is probably one of the weirdest things I’ve seen lately. I mean, loosing a virginity is always a difficult thing (yeah, yeah, deal with it) but I never ever thought it could be this hard. No, I’m not touching myself while writing this, I’m actually talking about the upcoming Kenneth Lonergan‘s Margaret project.

So, the best thing about this project is definitely cast which includes Anna Paquin, Mark Ruffalo, Matt Damon, Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno and Olivia Thirlby.
Anna Paquin and Ryan Phillippe to Star in the Indie Comedy STRAIGHT A’S
The second-youngest Oscar winner in history after Tatum O’Neal, Anna Paquin and Pulitzer-Prize winning photographer Greg Marinovich in The Bang-Bang Club, Ryan Phillipe have both signed on to star in the indie comedy Straight A’s.
Production on the comedy begins under the direction of James Cox (Wonderland), today in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dave Cole has written the script.
Brendan Fraser in William Tell 3D and Four Kings
All of the sudden, Brendan Fraser is more popular than ever! In case you don’t trust us, just type his name on the internet and you’ll see. But why should you waste your time on searching, when FilmoFilia is right here to inform you that Fraser is now attached to star in Nick Hurran‘s upcoming William Tell: 3D project, as well as in the epic historical drama that comes from director Damien Lee, titled Four Kings.
So, let’s start with William Tell: 3D. The film aims to shoot this fall in Romania and Switzerland and already has some interesting names involved in the whole thing, beside Fraser, who’s attached to star as the lead.
Apparently, Anna Paquin is in negotiations to play Tell’s wife, with German star Til Schweiger playing Habsburg king Hermann Gessler. Director Nick Hurran will direct from a script by Scott Reynolds, and here’s a little description of this family action adventure:
“In the legend, Tell just can’t leave well enough alone. The local potentate of the Hapsburg monarch, Hermann Gessler forces Tell to shoot the apple because he refused to bow before Gessler’s hat, erected in a town square.
The Romantics Poster
The official poster The Romantics, starring Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody, Anna Paquin and Elijah Wood, has been released.
The Romantics, based on a novel, of the same name, by Galt Niederhoffer, revolves around eight friends from college who reunite for a wedding. Holmes will play Laura, the maid of honor to Paquin’s Lila, the bride. Laura and Lila are best friends who both have a past with the groom (Duhamel).

Galt Niederhoffer will direct the movie. She also wrote the script based on her own novel.
“The Romantics” will also star Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood and Jeremy Strong.
The movie revolves around eight friends from college who reunite for a wedding.
