This should be interesting. We’ve just learned that 30 Days of Night: Dark Days helmer Ben Ketai is set to direct another horror thriller titled Beneath! Yet another found footage horror pic, but at least we know that the whole thing will revolve around a headstrong female lawyer, and if you ask me – when there’s some arrogant bitch involved in the movie plot – I’m always in!
So, at this moment we know that Ketai will direct the movie from a script written by Patrick J. Doody and Chris Valenziano which centers on a team of coal miners and a headstrong female lawyer who are trapped underground when the mine collapses.
As usual – it soon turns out they are not the only ones who want to get to the surface.
And that’s unfortunately all we know about Beneath so far (thanks to Deadline).
But the good thing is that production is scheduled to start in May in LA, which means that we’ll soon have more updates to share.
