Here's something from
Thomas Vinterberg‘s upcoming
The Hunt movie, which is scheduled to compete for Palme d'Or at
Cannes Film Festival this month.
As you already see, we have three new clips from the whole thing, and I must tell you guys –
Mads Mikkelsen never looked so serious to me…

But, serious or not, this man sure knows how to deliver some strong emotions. I just love that scene from the church, where Mikkelsen yells: “You want to tell me something?”. Looks so honest and yes – a little bit like psycho as well, but what the hell – he plays Lucas, a guy who fights a lonely fight for his life and dignity. But here's more details about the whole thing:

Following a tough divorce, 40 year-old Lucas has a new girlfriend, a new job and is in the process of reestablishing his relationship with his teenage son, Marcus. But things go awry. Not a lot. Just a small comment. A random lie. And as the snow falls and the Christmas lights are lit, the lie spreads like an invisible virus. The shock and mistrust gets out of hand, and the small community suddenly finds itself in a collective state of hysteria….

The Hunt is the first collaboration between Mads Mikkelsen and director Thomas Vinterberg who shook the film world with his 1998 Cannes winner, the tough family drama
The Celebration.
The rest of the cast includes Susse Wold, Thomas Bo Larsen, Lars Ranthe, Anne Louise Hassing and Bjarne Henriksen.
