I think I just found my favorite movie. Mental problems – what's there not to like about? And especially when we have Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper as two crazy people who become friends with big “F”. Or, was that a capital “F”?
I can't remember, but here's the great first trailer for the upcoming Silver Linings Playbook movie which opens this November.
As I said, I totally love this story. And this video is fantastic, just check out that weird dialogues, and that Hemingway-part with Robert De Niro – man, that's awesome!
Jackie Weaver, Chris Tucker and Julia Stiles also star in the movie which comes from director David O. Russell and really promises that we'll soon have a chance to watch one-of-a-kind comedy about love and second chances.
Silver Linings Playbook centers on Cooper as Pat Peoples, man released from the hospital after losing his wife to another man, who believes this age-old adage is just the ticket to trying to win her back and get his life on track. He moves back in with his parents and devotes himself entirely to becoming the man his wife always wanted him to be.
As you already guess from this trailer, that's not exactly going to happen. But Pat soon meets Tiffany, a beautiful young woman whose life also has not turned out the way she wanted, and together, they will try and navigate through their lives and stay true to who they are, always just one adventure away from a unique friendship, and possibly even love.
My favorite title already, indeed.
