Fox Searchlight Pictures has released a new international trailer and quad poster for romantic indie comedy
Ruby Sparks, the film from
Little Miss Sunshine directors
Jonathan Dayton and
Valerie Faris.
Paul Dano stars as a frustrated writer who creates a character named Ruby Sparks. However, it turns out that Ruby is more than just a fictional being when the unthinkable happens: Dano's ultimate MPDG comes to life. And that's not even the weird part. As his fictional creation, Dano's character can ultimately make her do anything he wants — like speak fluent French!
Zoe Kazan, Dano's real-life girlfriend, wrote the screenplay and stars as Ruby.
Additional cast include
Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Steve Coogan, Elliott Gould, Chris Messina and
Deborah Ann Woll.
