So, written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film stars Tom Cruise as the title character Jack, an ex-military investigator described as a hard-edged, anti-hero with a blunt manner and brutal fighting methods to boot who unravels a case involving a hired killer and a Russian known only as the zec.

Beside Cruise, Jack Reacher also stars Rosamund Pike, David Oyelowo, Richard Jenkins, Alexia Fast, Robert Duvall, Jai Courtney and Werner Herzog and the movie is set to open on December 21st, 2012.
When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody.
