Three new images from the upcoming Oz: The Great and Powerful have arrived and as you’re about to see – this report is all about Mila Kunis and her character – cute, innocent and green Theodora, aka the evil Wicked Witch of the West. Spoiler? C’mon, we all knew she’s the wicked one!
Directed by Sam Raimi, Disney’s fantastical adventure imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum‘s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. As you already know, the film is set before the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.
Beside Mila Kunis, the movie also stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs aka the Wizard of Oz, Michelle Williams as Glinda, and Rachel Weisz as Evanora.
As for our sweet Kunis and her Theodora, she is the first person Oscar meets when he arrives in Oz – beautiful and naive witch who is protected by her powerful sister Evanora. Apparently, she only wants peace to come to the Land of Oz and truly believes Oscar is the prophesied wizard they have been waiting for.

When Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora, Evanora and Glinda, who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late.
Oz: The Great and Powerful opens on March 8th, 2013.
