Another TV Spot For PACIFIC RIM: ‘Let’s Finish This’

PACIFIC RIM Another short (but action-packed) TV spot for Guillermo del Toro‘s upcoming Pacific Rim has arrived, and as usual – you can check it out in the rest of this report. We're definitely interested in this sci-fi spectacle, especially after Charlie Hunnam (who plays a former pilot in the pic) revealed that the film is filled with soul, passion, integrity and honesty. So, it's not all about giant robots & monsters… [jwplayer mediaid=”158137″] Anyway, let us once again remind you that Pacific Rim is set to hit theaters on July 12th, 2013, and that, beside Hunnam, also stars Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman, Robert Kazinsky and Max Martini. Guillermo del Toro wrote the script together with Travis Beacham, and as we previously reported, the story is set in a near future where soldiers pilot giant robots (aka the Jaegers) into battle against invading giant monsters (known as Kaiju) who have risen from beneath the ocean.
On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes – a washed up former pilot and an untested trainee – who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind's last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
In case you've missed our previous reports, now is your perfect moment to check out the images, posters and featurettes from the whole thing. As usual – stay tuned for more! PACIFIC RIM Poster
