The comedian-writer Patton Oswalt has a guest appearance on last night's episode of NBC's comedy series ‘Parks & Recreation' and he improvised an entire plot for Star Wars: Episode VII.
Oswalt inspired Entertainment Weekly‘s Jef Castro to design this mash-up poster that includes all of the elements the comedian mentioned in his pitch, which included Marvel's The Avengers heroes and many more from the Marvel universe.
On Thursday's episode of ‘Parks and Recreation,' a show about politics in a small U.S. town, Oswalt guest stars as a Pawnee passionate resident who invokes a bylaw about citizen filibustering to delay a city council vote.
The show's producers asking him to simply ‘ramble a bit about whatever subject he wanted.'
And he did — about Star Wars: Episode VII, including an aging Luke, Han and Leia crossing over into the Marvel film universe as they team up with the Avengers, Spider-Man, the X-Men and more to take on Thanos.
