Annette Bening and Ed Harris sure look like a perfect couple in The Face of Love, which is set to hit theaters next month. Unfortunately, still no official trailer for Arie Posin‘s upcoming romantic drama, but at least we have the very first photos from the whole thing to share. Written by Posin and Matthew McDuffie, the movie is desribed as a romance filled with intrigue, surprise, and reflections on the mystery of love, which revolves around a woman named Nikki who falls for a guy who bears a striking resemblance to her late husband.
In other words, Bening stars as the above mentioned Nikki who, five years after losing the love her life, falls in love again with an art teacher Tom, played by Harris.
What can I tell you guys, we're talking about a love at first sight!
Here's the rest of the story:
Tom is an art teacher with a kind heart and a great zest for life but what he doesn't know is that he's also a near perfect double for Nikki's deceased husband. Seduced by the chance to live as if her husband was never lost, Nikki spirals into a fantasy of the present as past, while Tom must unravel the mystery behind her immediate and unconditional love.
Beside the above mentioned duo, the rest of the cast includes Robin Williams, Amy Brenneman and Jess Weixler, and the movie is set to hit theaters on September 20th, 2013.
Let's not forget to mention that The Face Of Love has also been selected to be screened in the Special Presentation section at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, which means that we'll soon have more updates to share.
