Looper Poster

A time travel sci-fi film from The Brothers Bloom director Rian Johnson, called Looper, starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been given a brand new poster.

The whole mirror image thing symbolizes Gordon-Levitt who plays a younger version of Willis, a contract killer who does the dirty work.

Joe (Gordon-Levitt) is getting rich and life is good until the day the mob decides to ‘close the loop,' sending into the past Joe's future self (Willis) for assassination.

The first poster for Looper has gone online following two photos that give us a look at what Joe looks like. The film, which opens on September 28th, also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels.

Here's the official synopsis:

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.

Take a look at poster with fonts borrowed from the Inception. Teaser vignettes with Joseph Gordon Levitt and director Rian Johnson will be launched next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
