Well, one thing is for sure – this new TV spot for the upcoming Oz: The Great and Powerful definitely gives us much better look at our favourite witches – Theodora, Evanora and Glinda! Raimi directs the movie from a script written by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire, and as you already know – the movie is set before the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. Sort of prequel actually, which centers on a stage magician who is hurled into a fantasy world, and must use his wits to stay ahead of three enchantresses who have plans for him.

Starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Joey King and Bruce Campbell, Oz: The Great and Powerful is set to open on March 8th, 2013.
When Oscar Diggs is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot – fame and fortune are his for the taking – that is until he meets three witches, Theodora, Evanora and Glinda, who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity and even a bit of wizardry, Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
