IGN’s Summer Movie Awards 2011
IGN Entertainment, the world’s leading video games media company, announced today its 2011 Summer Movie Awards, which celebrates action, sci-fi and guy-centric movies that have hit theatres since May. Winners on the fourth annual list include X-Men: First Class, which took seven honors, including “Best Summer Movie,” and Hugh Jackman, winner in the category of “Favorite Cameo.”
After more than 150,000 votes by IGN fans, X-Men: First Class was also awarded in the category of “Best Comic Book Movie.” This was the first time the public voted on a category for the Summer Movie Awards. Other nominees in this category included Thor, Priest, Green Lantern, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Cowboys & Aliens.

10 New X-Men: First Class TV Spots
We have added 10 new TV spots for the upcoming superhero film X-Men: First Class.
X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

We have added a new trailers (domestic and international) for “X-Men: FIrst Class”. The trailers features brand new scenes, including our first looks at Oliver Platt‘s Man in Black character, as well as Ray Wise and Michael Ironside.

Second International X-Men: First Class Trailer
After the posters premiere yesterday, 20th Century Fox has released the second international (U.K.) trailer for the upcoming superhero movie X-Men: First Class, the fifth film in the franchise. There are mutant o’plenty in this one including looks at Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, Beast, Cyclops and Nightcrawler.

Twentieth Century Fox has sent over two new hi-res posters for their upcoming superhero flick X-Men: First Class, directed by Mattheww Vaughn (Kick-Ass) with Bryan Singer producing and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Jason Flemyng,Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz,Ed Gathegi, Oliver Platt, and Kevin Bacon.
