International THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Trailer

Fiona February 15, 2012 Add a Comment
The Amazing Spider-Man The Amazing Spider-Man is definitely a huge project, but somehow it still looks completely boring. I guess we're all interested in this movie simply because the cast looks pretty good, and partly because director Marc Webb promised us “an untold story that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story.” I'm not convinced yet, but here's a new international trailer for the whole thing. So, there he is, an outcast high schooler Peter Parker, played by Andrew Garfield, who was abandoned by his parents as a boy. He's trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today and is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance. That leads him leading him to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, played by Rhys Ifans, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero. The rest of the cast includes Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field, and “The Amazing Spider-Man” is set to open on July 3rd, 2012. What do you think about this new trailer?
