Written and directed by Robert Rodriguez, the second in a series that started with the 2010 film Machete is set to hit theaters on October 4th, 2013, and stars Danny Trejo as ex-Federale agent who is this time:
…recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.
Beside Trejo and Bichir, the movie also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Charlie Sheen, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler, Marko Zaror and Mel Gibson.
