As we mentioned at the beginning, Rodriguez directed the whole thing from his own script which revolves around Trejo's ex-Federale agent Machete, who is (this time) recruited by the President of the United States and must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.
In case you forgot, that eccentric billionaire is Mel Gibson, while the rest of the cast includes Sofia Vergara, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Carlos Estevez, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demian Bichir, and more.
